True Grit
As David recently commented, “I actually started this painting quite a while ago in gratitude for being allowed to bring the gallery to the Sturgis 2020 rally last year (find the motorcycles in the painting!). For obvious reasons, it was the only event the entire year and actually saved my family/employees from shutting down.
I attached some of the progress pics as it unfolded right up to displaying at the Governors mansion. The light on her horse “Ice Man” was what initially drew me to this image. It depicts South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem at the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park last year. Many thanks to Rod and Marilyn at the Buffalo Chip for helping make this happen. A portion of all sales will go to Treasured Lives, a newer charity devoted to assisting the victims of human trafficking.”
The canvas giclee prints are now available for purchase. Each one will come framed, hand-signed and numbered with Certificate of Authenticity.
