The Illusion

In David’s words, “Here is the first in a series of 3 images I have been working on for about 5 years. The series is called “Divine Intervention” and is done in the ancient etching technique called ‘Intaglio‘ (like Rembrandt)… All the prints are hand inked onto the etched plate, then printed on a watercolor stock under a 10,000 lb manual cranked press. Because of this, each piece is truly different and unique. This first piece is titled “The Illusion” and will probably have many different meanings to different people.”

These prints come in 2 versions: like the original image and also in a special embellished version. As David states, “The custom color ‘one offs’ should have this feel, kind of a watercolor wash over the top of the etched print and each one will be different.”
